The Big Event Social Media Chair
As a Social Media Chair for The Big Event Tallahassee, I am responsible for creating weekly graphic and video content to promote two annual service events across FSU, FAMU, and TSC.
Graphic Design
Inspiration
I draw inspiration from Relay for Life while redesigning branding and graphic styles. Their layouts inspire uniform text, color, and logo compositions for the company.
Process
I compile photos and videos from previous Big and Little Events into promotional content for the 2025-2026 season. Each piece is reviewed for brand consistency by Marketing Directors, Executive Directors, and the Staff Liaison.
Challenges
To meet posting deadlines, I work proactively to submit my designs for review in a timely manner.

Inspiration
To balance trending video layouts with effective branding, I draw from Relay for Life to create templates for service site and RSO highlight series.
Process
I am both a videographer and video-editor for The Big Event Tallahassee. I film content during Market Wednesdays to capture student engagement with our company and service events. Then, I design photo and video collages for Instagram Reels and animated Instagram Stories.
Challenges
Every member of the company (excluding the Staff Liaison) is a full-time student, creating scheduling conflicts for collecting and shooting content. I work proactively to film, review, and edit content featured in Reels and Stories. To design editable documents, I learned how to use Canva to create clean templates. While exploring this editing software, I advanced my trimming, text overlaying, and sound mixing skills.
